How It Works

1. If you're new to Detimi, click Create Account to create an account. Fill in the form and click submit. Once you've created an account, proceed to login.
2. If you're using the app, you'll be asked to enter a six digit number sent to your email to verify your email. If you're using the website, you'll be sent a link to click to verify your email. Email verification helps us reduce fraud.
3. After email verification, you'll be asked to create a profile. All fields are required. This helps us match you to the right people.
4. After profile creation, you'll be asked to add 2-5 profile photos. It is important that these are real photos of you. Profiles with fake photos will be deleted. The better the photos, the more attention you'll get.
5. You'll then be redirected to the profiles page. To send a message to anyone on the profile, click the chat button. To filter the profiles, click the 'Filter' button, fill the form and submit. To see details about a profile, tap or click on the profile.

7. Matches is a feature where Detimi will show you one profile at a time. If you're interested in the person shown, you tap on the heart. If you're not, tap on the 'X'. Your profile will also be shown to the person. If that person also 'likes' your profile, you'll matched! Both of you are alerted. To see your current matches, click or tap 'View Matches'. To chat with one of your matches, click or tap 'Chat'.
8. To view or edit your profile, click or tap 'My Profile'. You can also edit or remove your photos here. You'll not be able to delete photos if you have only 2 photos uploaded.
